Sally Dige (pronounced “Dee-Ah”) is a Canadian independent solo artist based in Berlin, Germany. A true self-contained creator, she writes, records, produces, and arranges her own music while also directing and managing the visual world surrounding her work.

With two full-length albums and a series of singles released through her own imprint, Dige Records, she has built a distinct artistic identity rooted in autonomy and creative control. Beyond her solo output, Dige has collaborated with notable artists including Thorsten Quaeschning of Tangerine Dream and Sweden’s Agent Side Grinder, expanding her presence within the international electronic and experimental music scenes.
In 2025 she released her album ,“Holding the Sun” which marks a bold departure from Dige’s signature dark, synth-driven sound, moving instead toward a warmer, more acoustic and vulnerable direction.
“After my second album, I was trying to write songs but struggled to find the excitement because I felt like I was repeating myself,” Dige explains. “The only way forward was to pick up instruments that didn’t require electricity and throw myself into acoustic ones. I needed to play with my hands—to actually feel the instruments’ vibrations, temperaments, and personalities.”
The result is an album created with the intention of using as little synthesizer as possible, embracing organic instrumentation and incorporating featured musicians. “Holding the Sun” reveals a more intimate side of Dige’s artistry—one grounded in physicality, experimentation, and emotional immediacy, while continuing to push the boundaries of her evolving sound.
